I am a voracious reader. I love reading books with deeply flawed characters, that despite their best efforts, never seem to do the right thing. I read a lot of unhealthy relationships, damaged characters, and not so happy endings. I am very much a hurt/comfort junkie. But, that doesn’t mean I don’t give in to my hopeless romantic side and feed it full of fluff until I want to puke rainbows to get my happily ever afters though. It honestly depends on my mood. Paranormal and esoteric matters fascinate me, so I love stories about vampires, ghosts, shifters or angels and the like too. The themes I read may vary, but ultimately, there usually has to be some sort of romance involved for me to pick it up. Anything with a strong emotional undercurrent is bound to get my attention.

I read probably 90% m/m romance, 10% Contemporary, YA, & Paranormal romance. And as I’ve already stated above, I’d say about 90% of them have a hurt/comfort slant.  M/M Romance is my favorite right now, and will probably be all that I post here. (See other reads for…well, other reads. I’ll post other romances there. Every now and then I get the craving for something different.)

I have a TBR list that I will never conquer. Last I looked there were some 400+ books on there. I don’t even live under the assumption that I can make a dent in it anymore. I can typically read, on average, a book a day depending on my schedule. However, as I am also a college student and I have a part-time job, time is not always my friend. So, it’s safe to say that I will try to post at least one book a week for review. Don’t hold it against me if I don’t make it though. Medicine is a demanding field that does not care whether or not I want to read. It’s much more fun to be here, believe me.

FTC Disclosure: I’ve paid for all the books I review. There are some occasions where friends have loaned their copies to read, but I am not a paid reviewer and I receive no compensation of any kind as a result of my reviews.  If at any time I receive copies from publishers in exchange for review, I will include that information in the review itself. Unless stated otherwise, assume that I have purchased all books reviewed.

These are solely my opinions and/or reactions. Since this blog is fairly new, you can find more of my reviews here on GoodReads.

You’re more than welcome to comment, follow, or hang around and chat with me about books. I’m always looking for a good one to get lost in for a few hours.

I’m glad you stopped by. I hope you like it here.
